Can I change that?

As a woman, I reserve the right to change my mind, my attitude, and anything else I may want to change.

I am not going to let people stomp all over my happy any more!

I am frustrated.  You can read all about it in my previous post.  However, I am not going to let it get the best of me.  Life is too short.  I don't care if other people don't see things the way I do.  I don't care if people don't feel things the way I do.  I don't care if people are so caught up in their own worlds that they can't see what's around them.  I don't care if some people are so stupid they are just missing it - all together.

I don't care!

Are you one of those people that attaches a mood, emotion, or a place in time to a song?

Stick with me here.

I know I am rambling.

I do this all the time.  Yes, rambling, but that is not what I am talking about.  I can hear a song from my past and it puts me back at a certain place, feeling certain things.  I find it hard to understand people who don't have a connection to music because mine is so strong.  Although, I do know a few.

Any - who!

I was grumpy.
In a foul mood.
Ready to punch something.

Then, I heard a song.
It cheered me up.
It made me think of other things.

Some songs can do that.
They put you some other place.
It may not even be a real place.
It may be a real place.
It may be a past place.
It may be a place in your future.

Still.
A place.
A place you want to be.

Do you have one?
You can borrow this one.

  1. Ah yes, music does calm the savage beast. :) A bad day at work for me, and I crank the tunes on my mp3 player on the bus ride home. Music is amazing for elevating (and lowing) ones mood.
